This 6 week KS1 English lesson resource pack is filled with warm-up activities, hands-on resources, videos, games and experiments. Each week's lesson is split into 3 sections - a warm-up activity, an introduction activity/video and a hands-on practice activity. The week's lesson is accompanied by a lesson plan to make it that much easier to use during class and when teaching young learners.
 
This resource pack includes 6 chapters of the story The Swiss Family Robinson in video form. 
 
Each lesson focusses on a specific writing style such as:

✏️  Descriptive writing 
✏️  Comparing using prefixes and suffixes
✏️  Acrostic Poem 
✏️  Diary Entry 
 
Added in as a bonus, is an example of the different writing styles to help you get a better idea of how to complete each task as well as some great reading questions to use while reading/watching the videos.
